Thank you for visiting Tillamook: Back to Our Roots. This is a project by the students of Phi Theta Kappa at Tillamook Bay Community College. Our endeavor was to understand why people have moved to Tillamook County from the beginning we have conducted research at the Tillamook County Pioneer Museum, Tillamook County Library, Tillamook Bay Community College, and several in-person interviews around the area.

To the left and right you will see two menus of choices to help you navigate this site. The last name index will let you quickly and easily scroll through names in alphabetical order. The Index By Year is broken down into 50 year periods based on earliest mention of family surname found in our research. As our name list grows, this may be broken down further. To the right you will see links to labels representing the same time periods. Clicking on these will bring up the list of entries in blog format for that family surname.

We hope this project can keep growing and will be looking for ways to extend it's reach in coming months.
